Israel allowed to join Red Cross

This isn't good news. Far from it. Jews are told they can be in the Red Cross family if they keep the Magen David out of mind and out sight. The so-called "red crystal" is a joke played on Israel. The admission isn't worth the price paid. I don't see why Israel had to disgrace herself on those terms to win "acceptance" from a cabal of anti-Semites on terms other than full equality. Does this decision connote full equality for the Jewish people? If the Star Of David does not have equal status alongside the Cross and the Crescent the answer to that question is self-evident. I see nothing to celebrate here.

No - Israel is NOT allowed to display the Magen David openly and without borders. The entire point of equality is to be treated on the same level as others. Indeed, the red crystal reminds me of the yellow badge Jews used to be forced to wear by their oppressors in all too recent times. This simply underlines Jewish inferiority. Israel should have just told the Red Cross to go take a hike.
