Wrong. The USA is multi-ethnic but there is only one culture - American(ism). Multi-culture is doomed to failure and has yet to succeed anywhere. The previous poster is correct. And the sooner we get rid of the poisonous notion of multi-cuturalism and "diversity" (chirp-chirp, tweet-tweet) the better off we will be...SSZ
The American culture is the fruit of the merger of many cultures. To me it is the most sucessfull example of multiculturalism.
In Europe you will hardly find any multiculturalism. There are a few parallel cultures that fail to link themselves. This and the lack of integration is the reason why we have so many problems with immigrants on our side of the Atlantic.
