But, I cannot figure out who is in the picture in the upper left hand corner. He's the Monty Python, "I'm a lumberjack, and I'm okay!" guy.
Btw, could you make out the disclaimer in red at the bottom of the post?

LOL!
I missed it the first time.
BTW, he said his wife thinks he's an idiot.
I guess she and I have that in common.

So, Mrs Spatso read the disclaimer with some difficulty. It caused her to take an interest in the thread and she read some of the other posts. Her favorite as I predicted was the donkey coming down from Mt. Spatso. Her comment was "he has you figured out." She also wanted to know if anybody had said anything different in the 200 posts after the first 20. One more thing, she does not want me to call her Mrs. Spatso.

I'm a lumberjack
And I'm ok
"I sleep all night and I work all day
I cut down trees
I wear high heels
Suspendies' and a bra
I wish I'd been a girly
Just like my dear pa-pa
(He cuts down trees
He wears high heels?)"
So, is there a reasonable explanation why Canadians post this ditty? Obviously, it involves some element of national pride or collective frivolity or a profoundly wry sense of humor. what does it mean?
