That is a really good example. It seems to me that the US has been highly aggressive in believing and chasing the possibility of additional security risks. Full congratulations to Canada for breaking the home grown terrorism ring. But, did I misread the media coverage that seemed disbelieving that this could actually happen in Canada? The disbelief is, in my opinion, part of the vulnerable soft underbelly of Canadian character, or what you might also call the boy scout factor. I would understand if a group of liberals were to attack me for saying that. But, surely, it is not unreasonable to expect Canadian conservatives should be just as concerned that the issue of this security scare came as such a grand surprise.
