I thought that was the League of Nations created in S.F. which failed miserably.....even though the U.N. is of the same ilk, I don't think the U.N. was created in S.F.

Another is that it was largely the work and vision of Communist spy Alger Hiss. Now THERE'S an "Inconvenient Truth" someone should make a movie about.
