Although it made me cringe a lttle. Me, too. I had planned to put 72 Helens in there but I had to quit.
I started feeling a bit ill.

The Americans understand that al-Zarqawi was only one man and there are many others who will carry on what he started, Abu Majid, an al-Qaeda cell leader in western Baghdad, said. Next up, Abu Majid!!!

You need your own website--to keep us sane when WuzzaDem is gone for weks at a time.

Mr. Zarqawi, You aren't going to into hell wearing that rouge/purple lipstick combination are you? Ok, but boy that is sure inviting trouble for guy who has eternity to spend there. I'd at least get a pair of cute purple pumps to match the lipstick.

There are some more good articles at www.back-to-iraq.com including this one:
http://www.back-to-iraq.com/archives/2003/02/spotlight_on_ansar_alislam.php
What's interesting to remember is that while WMDs were a big reason for war in Iraq, it was also this Ansar/AQ/Iraq alliance...that so many have forgotten about. It was important enough that Powell specifically mentioned it in his UN speech. And just as I've indicated above, other than WMDs, this was the most significant reason to depose Saddam before this terrorist organization became too entrenched.
This was another Taliban in the making...even worse, when you consider the resources and funding that would've been at their disposal with Saddam acting as a benefactor. N. Iraq was bound to become the new home for AQ once they were routed out of Afghanistan...and we needed to stop it immediately.

We did, in fact, see him alive, General Caldwell said. He mumbled something but it was indistinguishable and it was very short. "I am Al-Zargawi, and I want to negotiate."
