Net neutrality says that your local telco can't (for example) sell you a 1.5Mbps line and throttle it back to 128kbps when you visit the site you want to visit instead of the site the telco wants you to visit. The GOP is sinking into "crony capitalism" corruption, just as they did on the bankruptcy bill. The market will take care of all of this without government interference.

That would require removing all the existing last-mile franchise monopolies in phone/cable service. Wake me up when Congress gets around to doing that....

The market will take care of all of this without government interference. Yeah goodbye to Free Republic if your local cable system or telco has a liberal bent. Prohibitive access fees will be levied depending on political correctness of the web site you are trying to access.
