I happen to agree with Ann Coulter on how these women (the so-called "Jersey Girls") have allowed themselves to be exploited, and on the bad intentions of those doing the exploitation. I also understand that Ann is a bomb-thrower; the verbal equivalent of a MOAB, and about as subtle.
But I must admit: I don't like the careless language that I have observed her using to describe other people. Instead of clever and inciteful, she frequently comes off as mean and superficial, which is unfortunate for a clearly brilliant woman, and no credit to the cause of Conservatism.
A softening of tone, a bit of coloration in her black-and-white world, an occasional note of compassion, perhaps some attempt at introspection would help her win more fans. Ideological Liberals are never going to love her, nor should they be expected to; after all, they are the ones who view their political opponents (us) as not merely wrong, but as unremittingly evil.
Most Conservatives I know don't view the world this way, and don't come off as "haters" when they talk about those with whom they disagree. Pick any thread on DU to see the flip side. Therefore, while I love that Ann points out what you rightly call "the brazen manipulative tactics of the immodest and immoral left", I don't often care for how she does it; it makes her appear incautious and ultimately less intelligent than she really is.
With fans you crave who needs air conditioners.
