After calling a group of 9/11 widows "harpies" who seem to be "enjoying their husbands' deaths" in her new book, the conservative pundit has gone too far. She even added:
"And by the way, how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce these harpies? Now that their shelf life is dwindling, they'd better hurry up and appear in Playboy..."
Huh?
Ugly is the only way I can describe what Coulter has written. Now I understand why Time magazine put her on the cover a few years ago and made her look like a praying mantis. She just might be the type of creature that would eat its mate after sex.

We can agree to disagree.
but you'd never know that if the only people you listen to are the people who's entire focus on Linda Tripp was how "ugly" she is.
We can also disagree about whether lowering ourselves to their level is a good idea.
True enough, but I can positively guarantee you "they" will NEVER fight by Marquis de Queensbury rules while they are assured you ALWAYS will.
I believe that all people have the same basic needs and values and to put one race ahead of another, or behind another is destructive, equally so. Here is one quote I found:

I could be very wrong, but I think that whole line of argument only appeals to a small number of people on either side of the issue, and I doubt it impresses or convinces too many people in the middle.
It just reminds me too much of playground name-calling.
Don't forget how they all but crucified Kathleen Harris because of her make-up.

I believe you are missing the point. You are quite correct about the playground name-calling. That is the training ground for what is known as "female alternative aggression."
They aren't trying to convince anyone; they are trying to injure the psyche of their target. At the same time, they are inviting the other "girls" to boost their self esteem by joining in the abuse of the "unpopular girl."
And you know what: it works. Linda Tripp actually apologized to America "for being so ugly."
It's real. It's destructive. And we have almost NO social conventions governing such behavior because it is practiced almost exclusively by women and girls in secret for the express purpose of inflicting injury on each other while preserving plausible deniability. That's why and how the liberals use it to such devastating effect. Most men, haven't got a clue what it is, and most women mature out of it, but they remember enough to get away when the "feeding frenzy" begins.
The brilliance of Ann is when someone starts a viscious rumor about conservatism, if you'll follow the schoolyard metaphor, she unceremoniously walks up and punches them in the nose, because she knows EXACTLY what is being attempted.
