A 'right on' post.

PC was initiated to keep truth out. Some, now, are 'offended' when they hear truth spoken. PC is liberal lingo - dance around the outer circle. Conservatives speak truth.

God bless Ann!

What a moron.

Mike Straka, that is.

"Now I understand why Time magazine put her on the cover a few years ago and made her look like a praying mantis."

Simply despicable. Time was underhanded, cheap, cheating. And on the front cover to boot. That Mike Straka would condone such behavior is reprehensible. Now he quotes Ann out of context. More liberal white trash. If you can judge someone by their enemies, and the techniques of their enemies, Ann must be witty, wise, and courageous. But then, we knew that already.

Nobody in the media howled when Breitwieser claimed Guiliani wasn’t affected by the attacks enough to merit giving a victim statement at Moussai’s trial.

If you'll excuse the pun, you're dead on as usual.

I noticed none of the media cared much when they spit on the graves of 343 firefighters by blaming Giuliani and the FDNY for some of the death toll.

I agree with Ann: If the ladies are using their tragedy to get them into the political scene, they'll have to deal WITH the realities of the political scene.

If these women want to be treated as the weak victims who deserve special consideration, I'll be behind that treatment. IF, however, they want to stick it out there with "the big boys," they'd better not whine when they're treated AS a big boy.

they have spit on the sacrifice of 343 firefighters and 22 police officers.

Good point!

Coulter's comments were precisely and well adapted to the circumstances. These women forfeited the right to be treated with respect after they themselves treated the circumstances of their husband's deaths with disrespect to score cheap political points and undermine the War on Terror that threatens us all. They are shameless opportunists and no different that Cindy Sheehan in that regard.

Let me ask you: how are they different from Cindy Sheehan (apart from getting a whole lot more money from the tragedy)? Do you also advocate giving Sheehan a free pass?

You have great insight. If the Jersey Girls had been enemies of Clinotn's, Carville would have been out there telling us they're trailer trash--and nobody in the MSM would have blinked an eye.

She's not wrong, but she shouldn't have said it.....like saying someone is too fat to get a date.

I for one am tired to death of being always on the defensive from having Republicans attacked personally (you're a racist if you're against affirmative action, you're a bigot if you're against gay marriage, you're a moron if you aren't convinced by Darwin's progeny, and you're a religious maniac on par with the Spanish Inquisition if you support school choice) and otherwise illogically by liberals, only to be accused of going "out of bounds" by retaliating--even if you do so in a calm, unassuming, logical manner, because of some quality of the accuser that is unrelated to the point at hand.

In my opinion, we should all send wads and wads of cash to Ann Coulter for saying what needed to be said while giving the squeamish of the party an opportunity to appear "enlightened" to the liberal media and other pretty folks of Hollywood while still appearing to agree with her central points.

No. On second thought. We should instead retreat to our corners, suck our thumbs and let this 100 lb woman do all the heavy lifting.

What in the world is wrong with us?

Straka is just being a politically correct coward, that's all. No surprise.
Anybody can say anything they want about the scumbag "Jersey Girls" and it's fine with me.

Ann rules! These women seemed to need their widowhoods to script their leftist identities. I am sick and tired of them and suggest we send them to Coventry (as in totally ignoring them and their whining)

I think strong criticism of how the 4 "Jersey Girls" politicized 9/11 on behalf of the Demagogic Party is highly appropriate. However, I think Ann should have avoided the nasty assertions to the effect that they didn't love their husbands and enjoyed milking their deaths - that stuff is way over the top and DOES NOT help conservatives. Yes, the 4 Jersey Girls are hack operatives for the Demagogues and it's about time someone called them on it - but leave their marriages and families out of it.

If Cindy Sheehan can be criticized, then why not these women?

You can't criticize Cindy. David Letterman says so. so do all the biddies who call my editor to complain every time I mention her in a column. Even if you're a traitorous, murder-loving fiend, you have "absolute moral authority" if your son sacrifices his life for his comrades in Iraq.

"Utterly absurd nonsense as usual. They prostituted their "Widowhood" to act as strident Democrat Partisans. Very well, using their widowhood as justification for why their commentary on matters political was credible, they cannot then hide behind their widowhood to avoid being held to account for their actions. They gleefully used their dead husbands as political propaganda props. They have NO moral standing to now posture as victims. They picked this fight counting on their victim status to protect them from any response, too bad for them Ann has called their bluff"

Everything you said was true, every word! They are nothing more than political hacks being used as a tool by the Left.
