Therefore, they will not get any context or understand anything other than "Mean old conservatives are nasty to poor little widows."

Ok, Polly, here's the point: this fear is very 1980-ish. I think more Americans question the truth/slant of the MSM every day to the point that if they say the sun is up Americans will believe the sun is down.
