Because Ann was right -- she said the liberals like to use people like the Jersey Girls and Cindy Sheehan to do the hits on the GOP because they are considered sympathetic characters and no one will say anything about them since (as proven here) it would be considered to be in bad taste. She said, in her opinion, if you choose to make yourself a spokesperson for the far left, John Kerry, etc., then you make yourself fair game and playing the sympathy card is hitting below the belt.

I agree with that sentiment. Look how Letterman raked O'Reilly over the coals, after O'reilly had enough of Sheehadi Sheehan and told it like it was, Letterman made OR out to be the bad guy, not Cindy Sheehan who has pranced all over the world and country with Code Pink being photographed with Harry Belefonte, Hugo Chavez, etc.. The Jersey Girls, particularly Kristen, have put themselves in the line of controversy by their actions, which have been plentiful.

The left understands the value of using "shields." Communists used civilians as "shields" in Korea. In modern day politics, communists - I mean liberals, take people like the Jersey Girls and put them out front to attack President Bush. Then, because they are "victims," they aren't supposed to be attacked. It is a vile dirty tactic, but hey, that's what liberals are for. I am glad that my lovely Ann is brilliant enough to understand this disgusting tactic that they constantly use, and that she responds appropriately. Forum decorum prevents me from saying even harsher things about the Jersey Girls.
