I miss hearing Reagan's speeches. I was a little kid, and even then, I was impressed by his ability to speak to every listener individually.

If Normandy had to be fought today, I think there would be a revolution over the draft.

The young people today would not fight a war where there will be 500,000 dead when it ends.

Coddled children fed BS by a leftward media and academia...raised by the 60's me generation?

I have so much more respect for our military and for what they do. But I am also aware and thankful that weapons technology helps keep our casualties to a minimum.

If you have not read it I'd suggest you check out the book "Reagan, In His Own Hand: The Writings of Ronald Reagan That Reveal His Revolutionary Vision for America". It's a great book and Reagan was a special man. The left thought he was a mile wide and an inch deep but he actually a mile wide and a mile deep.
