I think so too. I can judge only by my own reactions: $20 to Bilbray campaign. We can use another House member who can vote against the "illegal alien" invasion.

For the record, in 2004 there were about 275,000 votes cast for this Congressional race (Cunningham vs. Busby), but presumably the turnout will be lower in a special election, even when combined with the primary election.

I suppose it would be very fast if everyone could vote electronically but then the whiners would say the Republicans are trying to steal every election.
Of course. The machines are made by rich corporations run by rich white dudes and can easily be tampered with by white software engineers (No outsourcing to India for this software!)

Wasn't it a Minuteman that surreptitiously recorded Busby endorsing voting by illegal aliens?
It seems to me that if Bilbray wins, he can the Minutemen, or at least that particular Minuteman.
To: B Knotts
he can thank the Minutemen, that is.
To: B Knotts
The minutemen candidate is taking 5% of the vote right now so no, I don't think anyone should be thanking the Minutemen at this point.

You all do understand that whoever wins the special election tonight has to run again in November, don't you?
To: skip_intro
I'd say a winning race now portends well for a win in November. Just heard on FOXNews, Francine is losing, but only 8% of the votes counted. Did I hear that right?

And may I add, the only way the Dems are going to take 15 seats in the House in November is by continuing to play us against each other. All they have to do is play Iago for 4 months. Here's an idea... why don't we stick together and destroy the Democrat party once and for all BEFORE we split the Republican Party into the loyal opposition.
They're practically dead as a political institution already anyway. Would it be too strenuous to stop flaming one another through one more election?

hmmmm, I live in Texas and I think Perry has been doing a good job - saved $10 billion in 2003, gave us 5 more GOP Congressmen, tort reform, defense of marriage, prolife, and now a big property tax cut albeit with business tax...

Busby wants a recount. Just kidding. I heard that she's going to argue that the illegal alien turnout was suppressed.
