"So a guest worker program is going to kill our country"

No, 60,000,000 new legal immigrants and 10 million amnestied illegals over the next 20 years will.

Quincy de Mayo will long be remembered as the day the President surrendered in the war of the reconquista.

I have no idea why this 60 million number is continued to be talked about. Even though Mexicans are not the only illegals they are the majority. The current population of Mexico is 107 million. Half of Mexico is not going to move here. The problem with the studies that advocate this are
(1) Its ignoring falling latino and Mexican birth rates. In fact in 20 years the median age of the average male will be 5 years older in mexico than in the USA
(2) It assumes that the Economy will continue to be boiling hot. It assumes no economic downturns etc
(3) It takes into no consideration the effect of Seasonal Workers aka circular migration. To which a guest worker program should in fact increase those number and reduce the numbers of families that come here
(4) It assumes that every Guest worker will become an American and that every worker will bring the max number of family members over

I could continue and continue.

Further more its beyond me that with declining European and in some places Asian Birthrates(Japan etc) and with Muslims breeding like rabbits why there should be a policy that in effect could decrease the population of the US. Which by the way is the stated goal of many of this "immigration reform" groups. Who will be left to fund the Gnp, to be the power of the Global Economy, to fund a military in 50 years if the population of the USA is decreased. Infact it should probably be increased to meet these alarming worldwide demographics.
