Unmitigated gall is correct. It's certainly no coincidence that the Gateses, Soroses, Turners, Kennedys, Kerrys, Feinsteins, and Rockefellers of the world are all strongly in favor of keeping this abomination of a tax in place -- they're completely unaffected by it, and if anything it serves them (by keeping the competition down). That they invoke the "fairness" card is the height of gall.

Liberal politicians are the stingiest. I recall checking out John Kerry's tax returns during the '04 election. He took an itemized $50 write off for goods donated to charity. It's all legal, but how cheap can you get?
