Okay, that's just sad.
I can see "not" going out of your way to offend Muslims, but if they're offended by something that is normal and everyday-ish, then that is their problem.
All this does is accustoms them to thinking that the new state of affairs is normal, making them more likely to be offended by the British flag when it does appear in public.
The opposite is the case here. The muslims are going out of their way to be offended. At what point do you say "You are not the only people in this country. You can't always get your way"?
