Well, I am all for Jeb BUsh 2008 -- let people vote for him for his record, not his name.
I bet he can beat Hillary too.

Bush fatigue will deny him the job. I think that he would have done a better job than his brother though...

I'm still waiting for someone to compare Jeb Bush's handling of the 2004 hurricane season in Florida with Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco's complete @%###*&### in Louisiana last year. That would really put his talents in perspective.
But then, if that got out in the MSM, they would actually have to examine what Blanco did, wouldn't they?
I know that's too much to hope for, so forgive me if I dream.

I wonder what a President Jeb Bush Presidency would have looked liked the last 6 years. If he had not got beat in Florida the first time he ran for Gov he most likely would have been the Bush to run in 2000

And it only took six replies for someone to start b*tching about Terri Schiavo.
And I thought the immigration crowd was obsessed.

Jed would have been a great President. As a resident of Florida during the recent hurricane years, I saw first hand his leadership. However, his brother has tainted the Bush name so much that Jeb will never be elected President. I do believe he should have ran for Nelson's Senate seat instead of KH. One again, GW leaves a trail of stink that impacts his own brother.

Florida is a wreck. A housing boom like Florida's can cover a lot of sins. As for Jeb Bush's leadership -- and believe me, I
wanted to be impressed -- I'd have to say it was absent. Structurally the state is an overpoliced wreck.
RIP, Terri.

If Jeb was elected governor in 1994, he would probably be the president.

I don't care if it's a dynasty or not. I think Jeb would be great as President with the background and history he has as Governor. It's the man that should be voted for, not the name.

"Why is Jeb Bush the best? It's very simple. His record is the best."
He stood tall and threw people off their private property in the Everglades and gave that land to snakes, alligators and leeches. What a record!!!
If he had another term, he could force people out of their homes in small towns and into tiny apartments in the big cities meant for gerbils. What a guy!!!
Then he could call his one world masters and ask how he might destroy other individual property rights. Hoorah for Jeb!!!
When it comes down to the individual and his rights in private property, George Bush is a patriot and Jeb is a Marxist land thief.

Governor in Chief. Jeb Bush's remarkable eight years of achievement in Florida. And just what would that achievement be?
1. A vast reduction in government employees?
2. A huge decrease in welfare programs and spending?
3. Eradication of all government waste and duplication of responsibilities and duties?
4. The establishment of term limits?
5. Restoration of freedoms for American citizens in his state? At least back to the 50's level.
6. Tort reform?
7. Bringing government back to the very basics and eliminating "vote getter" government programs, offices and goodies?
And the list goes on and on for what would be considered "remarkable achievements" in government.
