However, the fact that DOD is leaking like a sive, that the Marine Commandant has flown to Iraq to remind troops that they cant execute civilans, and three commanders have been relieved of their commands is not a good sign.

What planet have you been living on???? The fighting between the "combatants" ended in 2003! The only ones left fighting on the other side are those whose primary tactic is the "execution of unarmed women and children and ... elderly amuptee{s} in ... wheel chair{s}."
It is a terror war now. That is not to say that random slaughter is policy. But your naivete on the nature of the war in Iraq is truly frightening.
