I think I'd have to say when Sean Connery stole the show from Kevin Costner in the Sheriff of Nottingham. .... And the bad guy was ssooo much better than Kevin in that film

Was that the Robin Hood movie that starred Ken Costner that Connery was in? What part did Sean Connery play? I cannot find the exact DVD on Amazon. Thanks.

Sean Connery's appearance in "Robin Hood" would get my number 2 award, after Suzanne Pleshette.
I agree. I LOVE Alan Rickman, and he was more interesting than Costner (who apparently couldn't be bothered to learn an English accent).

And I cannot believe that they left in Christian Slater's "*uck me he made it" line when Costner and Freeman were catipulted over the wall.

I think I'd have to say when Sean Connery stole the show from Kevin Costner I was thinking the same thing. When Sean Connery appeared on the screen near the end of Robin Hood, he immediately eclipsed Costner. I have never seen one actor upstage another with such authority and finality. Had Costner simply disappeared for the remainder of the film, I doubt I would have noticed -- and he was playing the lead!
