Who do you think had the best cameo performance in any movie or TV show? You know, someone who had a bit part but stole the show for you.

Not really a "cameo," but I liked Cheri Oteri as the ditzy and unbearably upbeat intern on
Just Shoot Me.
And was she also the one who played the crazy nanny on Curb Your Enthusiasm? The one who had worked too long at Disney World and flipped out when she heard "It's a Small World"? (Well, after all, who doesn't?)

Suzanne Pleshette's cameo on the last episode of the "Newhart" show, when she and Bob wake up--as though they were still on the previous "Bob Newhart Show"--and Bob says he just dreamed the whole New England thing. I had forgotten about that and would agree with you as the best.
That WAS classic T.V.

Alfred Hitchcock was the king of cameos. Yes he was, I remember my father watching his shows on TV in the 50's. I was daddy's boy and would watch bits and peices of the shows.
(Interesting theme song he had on the TV series, in fact I just heard it this week on a classical radio station, I believe it is titled "Funeral March of the Marionettes", fitting for Hitchcock.)

..truth is that Alec Baldwin's cameo in "Glegarry Glen Ross" was outstanding Agreed. One of the best scenes ever. My favorite scene in movie history was the confrontation between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper in True romance.
Those are two of my favorite all time movie scenes, too.

I don't know if Brad Pitt was famous or not then, but I will always remember him smoking that honeybear bong in the movie "True Romance."

Daffy Duck playing a duet with Donald Duck in
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?In fact, having any of the great Warner Brothers cartoon characters in this Disney movie made for great cameos since Warner Brothers would put their own movies stars as cartoon cameos in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts. They are a lot more funnier if you know whom is being parodied in some of them.
