I have some friends that came over on the Mariel Boatlift who are none too happy about the current immigration direction.
Thank you! I am in PB county and I am mad that this whole immigration debate has turned into a big boo hoo about Mexicans in California. Almost none of the discussion applies to the people I am exposed to. They are primarily refugees from communist regimes, not Keebler elves doing the work that Americans won't... We bake cookies at night :) I see serious and heartbreaking human rights abuses ignored by sanctuary city policies.
