Pandering to constituents with un-Constitutional laws is the very definition of "grandstanding."

But if (as you say) the people of Oklahoma want this law, then they well deserve the massive legal bills that will arise from the futile effort to defend it in court.

I think it is a fight worth having. I mean, we waste money on things that are just ridiculous, why not spend some money trying to save children from predators?

I would much rather my tax dollars go for something like this.

Any law can be challenged in court, even the law that says I must drive 65, it doesn't mean the politicians were grandstanding when they passed it. Once again, believe me, the people of Oklahoma are glad this bill was written and passed.
