Golan Cipel.

Contrary to most public opinion, he was NOT gay - but he WAS an Israeli Mossad plant (thanks to McGreevey getting sucked into believing Cipel wanted him for a sexual relationship) doing a pretty good job of infiltrating NJ homeland security up until he was exposed as a security threat.

McGreevey ‘sex scandal’ was an Israeli Intelligence operation

A few days ago we were all stuck with news that Gov. James E. McGreevey, the a one-time rising Democratic star, announced his resignation admitting that he is a gay. He confessed to have had an extramarital affair with a man that he said threatened to undermine his "ability to govern."

Two sources close to McGreevey, and who refused to have their names mentioned, said the man involved in the affair was Golan Cipel, an Israeli whom McGreevey met during one of his trips to Israel...

...And here Foreign Policy/Intelligence Columnist Andy Martin uncovers some secrets to this regards, and asserts that McGreevey sex scandal was an Israeli Intelligence operation.

"People have been confused by the McGreevey sex scandal," says Martin. "But McGreevey's dilemma is not a gay sex scandal. It is an Israeli intelligence operation gone sour. This is not a scandal about 'sex.' It is a scandal about 'secrets', Martin says.

"McGreevey said he had sex. He did. Golan Cipel says he is not gay. He's not. They are both right. Mr. Cipel was a junior Mossad case officer, originally posted to New York under official cover. The Mossad is well known for using human sex toys. McGreevey was lured into a relationship that was intended to penetrate New Jersey's homeland defenses...

...'Gay sex' is being used to conceal the real nature of the betrayal. This was a blackmail scheme intended to place Golan Cipel in a position of intense interest to Israeli intelligence.

"What happened to the Israeli Seaman?
He swallowed it. (Me bad -- SLAP!)"

Apparently, he is over his penchant for Israeli seaman....

His wives should write a book about the hell this sock sucker put them through. His daughters face a life knowing their father had them to further his image. Any man who hangs around toilets looking for male sex needs to be castrated. He is a sickening perverted low life POS. Destroying the lives of those who loved him.

A viewpoint almost entirely absent from today's mainstream commentary. Could it really be the viewpoint of just a tiny minority? In some parts of this country, I'm afraid it might be.

What happened to the Israeli Seaman?

Another long-term, committed relationship gone by the wayside?

Homosexuals moving to New York City is like alcoholics moving into a brewery.

He should have been hung for threatening the lives of millions in his state by hiring an unqualified love interest as Director of Homeland Security.

Next thing you know he'll be offering to serve in a newly created position as National "Director of Homoland Security."

Former Gov. James E. McGreevey and his new partner are still house hunting, and have broadened their search to include possible digs in New York City.

"Apartment wanted. Backdoor entrance a must!"

His aides said McGreevey had been involved in an extramarital affair with a man on his staff.

Um...

Yep...A foriegn national isn't eligible for the requisite security clearance. Yet they allowed Pelosi to demogogue about "Culture of Corruption" unchallenged. This guy is a criminal-pervy.

The Israelis were using man-on-man action to spy on New Jersey?

"trips to strip clubs meant to bolster a false image as a womanizer, according to the excerpts."

I have always thought that Clinton's womanizing was to cover up his homosexuality.

I think the relationship mcGreevy had with the Israeli seamen soured and left a bad taste in their mouths. For mcgreevy, coping with this whole affair (including the loss of his Israeli seaman, swallowing his pride and coming out as a gay American, exposing the dark underbelly of his lifestyle, hitting rock bottom, and giving his wife the short of the stick) is a tough nut for him to crack. If his supports have any say in the matter, in the end, he'll end up on top.

They also left out the part where McGreevey publicly gave blood during his politician years.

One would hope that he used the anonymous opt-out so that his blood would not be used for a transfusion. I have been giving blood, every 8 weeks, in New Jersey for about ten years. (I always say, why have a cholesterol problem when you can just give it away to others?) New Jersey Blood Services has a place on the form where the donor places one of two bar codes, one of which indicates that it his blood should be used for transfusion, and one which indicates the donor may have a risk factor and the blood should not be used for transfusion. This is a safeguard to permit a person who may be under pressure to donate to prevent others from being injured. The placement of the sticker is done privately and nobody can tell by looking at them which is which.

Given this procedure, one would hope that Jim McGreevey took advantage of it. There is no way to know for sure, of course.

Interesting. The way I read your sentence is that someone may be under pressure to donate blood in order to prevent others from being injured. Such as- give blood now or you'll never see your family again.

I imagine that is not what you mean and that what you are saying is that someone may be under pressure from co-workers, employers, etc. to give blood and that a process exists for the potential donor to still donate blood but also mark on a form that his/her blood should not be used. Thus, the donor looks like a good citizen, no one gets hurt, and everyone is happy.

Also- if someone that donates blood opts out so that their blood is not used for transfusion, is the blood used for anything at all? Or is it discarded?

Sorry for the lack of clarity on my part. Allow me to try again.

People may feel pressure to give blood for a variety of reasons. McGreevey's case would be a prime example. As Governor, he would be expected to participate in things like blood drives and it would be highly noticable if he refused for health reasons.

The confidential opt-out bar codes allows the donor to avoid the problems that may be associated with opting out publicly while still ensuring that nobody will be injured by the fact that he donated tainted blood.

Given that this procedure was available, one would hope McGreevey took advantage of it. No way to know for sure, of course, because the opt-out is anonymous.
