It is so wonderful to come to this thread and see posts from LadyX's family!
Bernie, your updates have been so very much appreciated.
Steve, thank you for sharing the video and thoughts about your mother. What a blessing to have had her for a mom!
And Morgan, what a touching sweet post from you. I knew your grandmother here on line for several years and I must say that I don't know of anyone who seemed happier and more content than she. Through all of her health problems I never once heard her complain. I am sure she had days that were very difficult, but here she was always positive and uplifting.....and often very funny. Her sense of adventure and her story-telling entertained us all. For me personally, she was spiritual guiding light and an inspiration. I know that I am a better person for knowing her.
Our hearts are with you, her family, now. May the Lord whom she so dearly loved and faithfully served comfort you all during this time of loss and sadness.

Hi, Morgan.
Oh, yes, your grandma, our LadyX was very happy with life and it showed with every word she would say here. She especially loved her family and was so proud of each and every one of you. Now, I've not known her as long as you have but I can't stop thinking about her either and I've got some special memories shared, too. She had the BEST stories to tell.
Through my tears today I'm thanking our Lord that He brought Margaret to brighten our lives even if it was for too short a time (in my opinion, Lord!).
Your grandma had an absolute trust that EVERYTHING that happened in her life was brought there by His own hand and for the purpose of glorifying Him in her life. Therefore she could rejoice and be happy no matter what. She really lived her faith.
God bless you and keep you, dear Morgan.
I miss you so badly, Margaret. I'll be planting zinnias just for you. And maybe some lantana over there in that flower bed....

For Morgan. Your grandmother had the deepest kind of faith in God. That made her a very happy woman, because it gave meaning to her life. She lived to serve God by serving others. She adored her children and all of her family. She talked about all of you hours on end. Remember the fact that she wanted to to watch somehting on TV that would be positive. She was thinking of your happiness. When we think of others and their happiness, it makes us happy. Thinking of ourselves all the time does not lead to happiness. Your Grandmamma was all about doing for others. She was a strong lady who experienced many adventures, but she never lost sight of who she was and what she was about. I hope you will read what she said ab out her illness that I posted above.
Sweetie, you take the very best of that great lady and you make her proud, and I know you will. She will want you to be a strong, responsible person.
You keep reading the things that people are sayiing about her and you will see what greatness is. Ask yourself why they love her so much, and then look for the answer. Those of us who loved her, will love you because you are her blood and bone, as well as heart. ((((((Morgan)))))))

Hi Morgan,
Your grandma spoke of you with lots of love. You will remember all the good times. Hold your grandma close to your heart, she is there with you. Take care and God Bless ya. Your grandma was so very happy with her life, a woman of wisdom with a wonderful sense of humor. A wonderful, caring person, and that is what we all strive to be...what your Grandma was. And a Marine too :-) I wish that I had met your Grandma.
Take Care, Morgan
Regards,
Colleen

Oh, Morgan honey, she loved life more than anyone we've ever known. She enjoyed it to the fullest. She made everyone who came into contact with her better for the experience.
She was very happy indeed with life. I'm sure she wants you and your new niece too, to be happy with life as well.
