In a bid to pump up sales, Toyota said Chinese-made Camrys will be priced at 197,800-269,800 yuan ($24,700-$33,700), well below analysts' expectations. Imported Camrys last year sold for 340,000 yuan ($42,500).

Camry's in the U.S. will run from about $19,000 to about $27,000 depending on model and options. If the U.S. auto workers are making 20 to 30 times what the Chinese ones are in pay and benefits then why are the cars here cheaper?
