I think that the average voter can reasonably look at Nelson and Harris and come to the conclusion that Nelson is the better choice.

When Specter beat Toomey do you also believe the better choice won? How about when Thune lost to Johnson in '02, did the voters make the best choice? You must believe then that Nelson was the better choice for the country and the state of Florida when he trounced McCollum? If Gore had won in 2000, would the will of the voters provided clarity to you that he was in fact the better choice?

After Nelson gets reelected and then votes against every conservative piece of legislation, including conservative judges, that comes before the Senate, will you come to these threads and tell us that Nelson was the better choice?

KH has no grasp that a broad consensus of Florida voters thinks she sucks

Harris is the only candidate who had the gumption to step up and run against a well financed ultra-liberal masquerading as a moderate. The fact that she was the only one to do so provides us with a clear understanding of her character. Her character is indisputable. But this is just one of two facts. The other being that Harris is not the one who sucks here.

Well, I don't know what passes for "fact" in your world, but Harris is not the "only candidate who had the gumption to step up and run against a well financed ultra-liberal, etc." There are four republicans in this race, including Harris, Leroy Collins, Jr., Peter Monroe, and Will McBride. In addition, there are another four candidates (without party affiliation) in the race. Apparently, there were eight people, including Harris, with a bit of "gumption."
