Rocks my faith?
How could a dumb book and movie written for shock value to make a buck, rock my faith?
It blasphemes my Savior and I don't appreciate that.
Jesus was mocked, tortured, ridiculed, crucified and He took all of that in order to provide all men with the opportunity for eternal life with God. All they are asked to do is follow Him, be baptised for the remission of their prior sins and they receive the best possible gift this world has to offer.
No - there is a point behind this movie and the book. That point is to mock the life of Jesus, to call the 2000 years man has believed the Bible of what His life is into doubt and to bring about efforts to destroy His message.
And you think I would go pay to see these anti-Christianity efforts, to pay to see man again seek to harm Him who gave His life that this same man could have eternal life?
The ones that will be hurt are those not of the Christian faith as this effort and the ensuing ones to tarnish Christ and take God out of America might cause them to turn away from the truth when they run across it. They then will lose their opportunity for eternal life.
Man must remember the Lord gave His Son for man's salvation and efforts to harm that Son will not be acceptable to God.
I would not want to be in the shoes of mockers and those harming Jesus or God's word - the Bible on Judgment Day. And there Will be a Judgment Day.
