The angry star was actually the first choice of Dr. Robert Lomas (the intellectual who inspired the Robert Langdon character) to play him. Tom Hanks plays Langdon in the film What??? This was a joke, right? As if Mel Gibson would ever think of being in this movie! Why that is just downright insulting to even suggest him for the role. The Da Vinci code is from the pit of hell.

Besides the fact that the movie has an awfully heretical story line, the film was terrible, I mean cinematicly. Story line aside, the acting, cinematography, plot twists, effects, etc. were downright disappointing. I would be worried if this was a well done movie that had the possibility of leading others astray, but It's boring! It's not done well enough to capture the audience. I suppose that's a very good thing thou...
