What a horse; what a story; what a hospital; what a team of docs. This will be a movie if Barbaro makes it. How heart-warming.
Fingers crossed and prayers said.

What wonderful news. Everyone pulled for that horse to survive. In his survival the legend will be enhanced....IMO.

A made-for-TV movie, maybe. It aint Seabiscuit. But I'm happy for a happy ending.

Even if Barbaro fully recovers, I doubt he'll ever race again.

I am soooo thankful because they were saying that he could end up being put down. I had a horse that died so I really was praying for this wonderful animal to recover.

As much as these horses love to run, his life won't be that bad if he has to retire.
Lots of green pastures, good food and doing the occasional stud service every now and then.
Life won't be too bad!
