Call me psychic, but I'm willing to predict here and now that the housekeeper did not enter the US legally, and that some strings had to be pulled even to get her US citizenship straightened out.
And I'm willing to bet this is a big part of the reason GWB is consumed with guilt, and thus is trying to ramrod this illegal invasion policy down our throats.
As for using this as some "set up" for the Dems ...

You are psychic, and I think 100% correct. I smell cover-up here, and if so, this will be found out (I'm sure the MSM are on top of this at this very moment). Then Bush will once again look bad.
Wow, that's easy! Let me try that. Call me psychic but you, MojoWire, like to vandalize old ladies' cars. Hey, it's just my feeeeling, and prediction! Please, people, can we not assume the worst and not accuse President Bush of things void of evidence? Geesh. We've already had the Dems doing that for YEARS.

President Bush has yet to show any behavior indicating such Libroid emoting (ala Jimmy Carter).
Have you considered that Fox may have a deal with Chavez and that we are allowing the illegals in to keep the oil flowing?
As for President Bush not being very much of a strict conservative, he campaigned as a "Big Tent" moderate Pubbie, so one can't claim he was deceptive.
Sadly, I think I have to agree with you. There seems to be a reason that GW is abandoning his base on this issue and I don't think that it's because he's compassionate.
