I have to say this.
In 2000, Hillary came to our jobsite in Manhattan.
I was an engineer with my firm at the time.
I was standing in line with my superiors.
She proceeded to shake everyone's hand.
When she walked in front on me, she extended her hand.
I shook it.
Her Royal Thighness flanked by Secret Service.
In a previous instance I got to shake hands with Rudy Giuliani when he was Mayor.
It truly is a small world.
She has no idea how everyone she met that day truly detested her and would never vote for her.
By the way, I used rubbing alcohol on my hand three times before touching anything.
LOL! Excellent. Many, many upstate despise her, not enough though to overcome the dems. She has support in Buffalo, Albany, Syracuse yes, but most despise her.
If she running in 2008 I hope to have the rotten fruit and horse turd francise locked up in Ohio.
But yet the beast got elected. I only know a couple people that voted for her and they will not do it again. They pull these stories out of dreamland..
Please give your thoughts on how she can be defeated in 2008.
Keep in mind this creature is able to galvanize the scornful side of women, is able to manipulate the press like no other, and seems to gain support when 'the vast right-wing conspiracy' attack her character.
How to overcome her?
Also keep in mind she controls one of the largest union pension funds in the world, that of the government education union.
I attended one of her "listening tour" sessions when she was running for Senate in 2000. I never saw a more orchestrated event. College students told her about their volunteering activities, and she nodded like a bobblehead. About ten minutes into her half hour speech, her audience began to leave. Half the crowd was gone while she was still speaking. I think people came to see a person they'd seen on TV. At the end, she came down near the door, alone, to greet the crowd, yet she made no conversation, nor effort to shake hands. Everyone in front of me merely exited, and she stood there behind her expressionless mask. It was very weird.
The evening's TV coverage grossly exaggerated both the size and temperament of the crowd. The next day's newspaper article bore no resemblance to the event I witnessed.
If she's re-elected, it will be due to the NY GOP party's failure to use the six years it has had to find any kind of credible candidate.
That's an interesting observation. I wonder how far from reality she is, surrounded as she is by yes-men and girls too intimidated to make eye contact.
