Really, tell Dan Brown his theories are fiction. He will readily admit his factious characters are fiction, but not the thoroughly disproven conspiracy theories. His theories are an easy sell to the growing number of people who fear Christianity. And yes, there are millions of people buying into his blasphemy.
The book was a mega seller ... and apparently better than the movie. But I suspect that most who plan to see the movie have read the book.
In the meantime, people who want to quash the movie sound like the people who condemn the cartoons of Mohammed. I would no more call for the banning of this movie any more than I would call for the banning of Mohammed cartoons.
Christians should stop being so fearful.
Good grief. These are not Brown's ideas or theories...he merely took the ideas and stories that have been around for 2000 years - ahh,not to mention all the CURRENT NON-fiction books with long biblios on these 'ideas' - that no one seems to have a problem with.
rather amusing that no one is objecting to these NON-fiction books (the ones that gave Brown his impetus for a NOVEL).......so buy into, and spread, the LIE that Brown is the author of these ideas.
