I was thinking more along the lines of not trying to judge history by present day PC/liberal standards and rewiting it to make the good guys look like the bad guys. If he's so concerned with what we did and how he would relabel us to make us look that bad, then he could have taken that approach. Sorry I didn't make that clear.

I agree with you. There's a big difference between going out of your way to slaughter women and chhildren (like some cultures do), casualties of war are different. And you do what you need to do to survive.
