He has stopped reading the newspapers except for Stars & Stripes.

Even the Stars and Gripes (Mideast Edition, no less) has gotten a tad leftist. Not as bad as the WaPo or NYT, but they print a lot of AP and Reuters articles that aren't exactly supportive of the efforts over here.

Please thank your son for me and I'm so glad he's home and getting the recognition he deserves.

Thank you for your kind words. He was home last month for a couple of weeks; he's back over there now. We are hoping he'll be home for good by Thanksgiving.
