There is no Socialist Security "trust fund". The media and the politicians talk about it, but it doesn't exist. Retirement benefits are paid from current payroll taxes, not from an accumulated fund, not from an "endowment", not from a "trust". It's a ponzi scheme where current working suckers provide the money to pay retirement benefits to the retired suckers. No one has an account with a "balance". If a private pension plan was run in this manner, the corporate executives would be convicted of fraud and embezzlement. But since Socialist Security is run by the government, it's exempt from ethics or legal niceties.

Thank you. Finally someone is pointing out where the real problem is here: Conservatives should be fighting to eliminate Social Security, not complaining that Mexican illegals are going to unfairly benifit from it. Social Security is a scheme to take money from some people and give it to others - no different than a tax.

Eliminate FICA tax and other other federal taxes and cut welfare entitlements way back - with less welfare, unemployment, and other socialist freebees - the law breaking parasites won't have much reason to come accross the border - we'll get the hard working law abiding Mexicans, who will be more than welcome.

Less socialism will be just what the doctor ordered for our own native born citizens too.

Q: Who cut taxes and tried to fix Social Security?
A: George W. Bush.
Let's give the man some credit.
