What do you think President Bush will do with such a poll? Will he be so scared that he will order the deportation of the 12 million illegals who are here? He will not do it because it is impossible to deport 12 millions of them.
They don't have to be deported.
If we would actually enforce the law on employers, millions would leave of their own accord.
His administration says 6 million were deported since Bush took office. If true, why is 12 million so far fetched?
No it's not. Eliminate the incentives and they will self deport. What is so hard to understand about that?
If we end all illegal social programs and illegal hiring, they'll either end up in jail or go home. I don't see a problem with that. Just stop rewarding them for illegal entry. Don't reward them for breaking our immigration laws.
Cubans say they come here for "the gift." They come to America, and Americans give them a wonderful life - for free!
Why wouldn't thousands of poor people come here? The tax payers are an endless well of wealth and free hand outs.
The pandering politicians throw money around like candy at a parade if they think it'll get them a vote.
Anything is possible if we have the will.
AMEN! It's so easy to criticize especially by those who have no plausible alternatives. There's no way under God's green earth one can get rid of that many people, many of whom have children that are legal just by the mere action of having been born here.
"What do you think President Bush will do with such a poll? Will he be so scared that he will order the deportation of the 12 million illegals who are here? He will not do it because it is impossible to deport 12 millions of them."
If, or should I say when, the 12 million illegals become citizens and they bring the other members of their families, you suddenly have 40 million +. Mass deportation may not be the answer, but I know citizenship isn't.
