Perhaps since you were so brutal with every mistake in the article, you won't mind a nitpick correction from me.
Instead of writing "I'm not being snotty," you should more correctly state that "I'm not intending to be snotty" or "I never intended to seem snotty" or some other variation. It is my opinion that most folks after reading your remarks would definitely regard them as "snotty," "snooty," "haughty," or some other term that communicates arrogance.
While I have to agree with you that the author made a number of incorrect assertions, it pains me to do so because I feel like I am aligning with a "know-it-all," "jerk," or some other expletive I probably should not write.
All that aside, I am sure you are not nearly as hard to be around as your posts indicate. I bestow upon you the benefit of my doubt in hopes that grace will be afforded me as well.
