"Our Republic and our world canNOT well or easily afford such an event--and survive in anything like a Constitutional form."

Deep breaths.
If the Democrats win Congress in 2006, with slim minorities, it won't be the end of the Republic.

The Republican Party will caucus, add a solid border fence to the "untouchable" policies of the party (along with no tax hikes and pro-life) and the Border Conservatives will come back in droves, propelling the GOP to victory in 2008.

Now, couldn't we just avoid the intervening loss and give the BorderBots their fence NOW? It's just not that hard.

I am all for the FENCE NOW.

I think you underestimate the forces for evil overtly obvious in the DIMRAT CAMP but stepping back for a greater perspective view of the whole big picture--the globalist forces have many nooses around our collective throats--especially around our Constitutional rights, media, institutions, freedoms etc. And, they have the means of drawing those nooses tight.

Certainly 33% roughly are vigorously and blindly, mindlessly cheering such Marxist efforts on. Another 5-30% depending are happy to collude when the delusion and Machiavellian manipulations are slick enough to foll them into it--which is increasingly common.

Giving the DIMRATS more power at this point in history would be truly suicidal to the Bill of Rights, to our Republic and to Freedom loving folks everywhere. It might not mean the demise of our Republic. I believe God will eventually raise it back up more or less regardless. But it looks at present that the forces of evil are determined to shred our Republic in order to make raising up the Global tyrannical government far easier.

They are not kidding.

And they are more powerful than you seem to believe.

Voting them MORE power will only speed their traitorous efforts regardless of if it's 2 years, 4 years or 8 years.

And I seriously question whether after 4 years or however many of Shrillery in power--whether we COULD have another fair election, or not.

So, apparently you are not working to help for a GOP victory.

Just how will the democrat congress help any of our conservative agenda items?

Just how much damage was done by the prior democratic imposed rulings - such as the destruction to the intelligence agencies, "the created wall" between the agencies, the destruction of the military.

Just how much easier will it be to get conservative judges nominated and input into the Supreme Court with no majority in congress? We can't get anything through now - how is a democratic congress going to input good judges?

If I weigh the two options - democratic congress or holding with the GOP majority - I see no comparison.

Your method means we are always having to play catch up and never get used to being the ones in power. Your way allows for much more committee leadership positions that trail off into future GOP terms.

Your way allows for increased power base building among the already intrenched democrats. Your way allows for more democrat infiltration into every phase of government.

Just how is that effective for conservatism?

Seems that is going backwards to me. And, it seems that means you are working against us - not for us.
