Very badly for any organization or person(s) that put their support behind Bush & the Senate. The President has lost all credibility on this issue, as has the Senate and both of their supporters.

Hell he is the only one of the entire bunch that has any credibility on this issue. His position is the same as it was in 1999. All of the others are just reading polls and reacting.

We the people are the legitimate heirs of the Republic - our representatives enact law which is to be enforced by the Executive. The President has no option in the matter - selective enforcement of the law is a primary definition of corruption.

Bush was a state governor in 1999; he has been the Chief Executive of the United States since 2001. He is personally responsible for carrying out EXISTING enforcement of employment, immigration & labor laws. He has no credibility in this issue.
