Quote "Instead of insulting folks and accusing them of being anti-Bushies, why not face the issue and argue its merits or lack thereof?"

Correct. It isn't that people hate Bush. It is the fact that Bush is making VERY bad decisions. He has lost his base...I mean you know it is bad when Ted Kennedy is praising President Bush.

Come on people. Are we so stupid as to not know what we even believe? Should we just follow Bush right off the cliff?

I think we have lost the true conservatives in this nation. There are few left.

Sad Sad Sad - and just read all the comments in this thread. It is obvious that our nation is doomed when we can't even remember what a true leader is.

Which brings up a thought, if you don't mind, I have wondered before if "praising President Bush" by a despised demo, i.e. Kennedy, Reid, etc., is not a smart move by the demos to alienate us. Nah, they're not that clever are they? But how many times have I seen the President bashed on here because of it....

Actually, it is doomed when a majority of its population share your defeatist attitude. And for the record, could you point to who you think is a current "true leader" in this country?
