Well, how they will vote doesn't animate me much. They will vote like Italians voted. They will not be that off out of the mainstream, and polls on issues show that they are only somewhat left or right of center, depending on the issue. In about 3-4 generations, a majority of them will be Republicans. That is about how long it took the Italians. I do have some concern in the meantime, that then Hispanics are 60% of the likely voters in California, they will vote in politicians that remind one of politicians in Mexico. Just a thought.

Just out of curiosity, would there be that much of a difference? From what I can see from outside the state, it seems much of CA's problem with illegals is the protection, rights and benefits that the current local and state government is providing them.
