I tend to agree with your sentiment that the Senate is being pressed into action, and agree that we will probably see some (compromise) legislation passed. This will indeed be a first step and good for the country, however, I don't have much hope of it calming some of the outrage we see here every day. Whatever the result, it won't be extreme enough and will be labeled treason.

Well jackson, if we get some serious enforcement on the border, and action inland (like here in Illinois) along with some steps dealing with the takeover of all the Spanish everywhere I think it would make folks look unthankful and a bit marginalized to be claiming treason.

Today with things as they have been for decades draws that kind of ire and to be honest I can see where that sentiment comes from. Frustration mostly.

The worst thing that could happen is if nothing at all comes down the pipe from conference. At this point I just hope all hope that doesn't happen.
