OK. Quit accusing me of saying you did. You were talking about people who have been banned and suspended. Many have been banned because they demanded Bush be impeached and they are advocating a Republican loss in 2006.
"Amnesty will ensure a Dem takover of this nation. It is foolhardy to the extreme."
No. It won't. You grossly overestimate the impact of single issue voters deciding not to vote in 2006. Congressional elections are local events.
"A generation ago your views to allow 1-200 million immigrants to swarm in here in a generation would have been laughed at as preposterous. "
What are you talking about. I'm still laughing at the preposterous suggestion that 200 million immigrants will even exist to swarm in here in a generation. And if you can back up your "racist" rhetoric with anything Ed Gillespie has actually said, I will give you just a hair more credibility than the almost zero credibility I currently grant you.
The news coming out tonight is that the GOP House leadership meeting with Rove didn't go well. My Rep and others are breaking with Bush; we'll know soon enough if this becomes the new playbook.
Point taken.
You are not only blind to the fact that I am laughing my socks off AT you, but that Toby probably is as well; though I don't assume to speak for him.
You horned in, you attacked me for no reason, Toby and I have been having a high old time of it, yet YOU are still flaming away. How childish and boring and useless!
I have yet to threaten anyone, dear, but since you've slapped on the kneepads and are begging for it, I just might comply with your wishes. ;^)
If they turn on Bush then it is them that will be out of their phony baloney jobs.
The House is our last best hope. I have been urging everyone to vote R in 06. We must keep the House.
The Constitution has its principles, the BOR and the Constitution also has its pragmatism, the rest of the document.
Read the procedures of the Constitution. It describes a process of politics and pragmatism.
You're wrong if you believe pragmatism is unprincipled.
Being hard-nosed to the point of cutting it off is not principled, it's self defeating.
OUTSTANDING rant Pukin Dog! Thanks.
Happy Anniversary and thanks to you and Southack on your profile page.
I was curious as to how you spoke to them. I guess you know them personally.
I can agree with the above to a certain point. I have no idea why you seem to want to pick a fight with me, but I will tell you that pragmatism leads to apeasement without a stong commentment to princibles. I think you would agree.
Okay. Threaten away.
Show me how powerful you are.
" guess you know them personally."
Is tha possibility beyond your realm of comprehension?
I have no problem with House conservatives sticking to their guns on the border issue, and I'm not happy with the Senate either.
I do however still support President Bush, even if I don't always agree.
I'll stick with the only conservative party with a chance of winning, and try to improve on that from within.
?
Turning on Bush is the only way they can (a) win primaries; and (b) win in November.
My guy is a shoe-in; Gilchrist almost took Cox's vacated seat in the district right south of here against a mainline GOP candidate.
Of course - we still want him to carry on the WoT and kick some muzzie ass. But as far as illegal immigration, forget it.
Several of us know one another in person. I personally know a poster or two who have been banned, but I am certain they know the reason(s).
ROFL. Touche.
What you said BUMP!
I concur.
