Sounds like they have attitudes better held in Mexico than here. I presume you speak Spanish as well and know the kind of trash they are talking all the time.

I only speak a little Spanish, but enough that my students think I'm fluent. ;-)

My classroom rule is, absolutely: NO SPANISH.

ESL is an English class.

Yes, of course. The most lamentable part about all of this is the American public's ignorance of the scope of the problem. They simply do not see it.
