A Jewish George Bush--tough on terrorism, big on economic growth, but squishy when it comes to spending. And he takes an unrelenting beating from the left.
He takes an unrelenting beating from the right as well. The right brought down his government and the right will never forgive him for Wye River and for pulling out of Hebron.
He's more like Bill Clinton or John Kerry than George Bush. His politics go whichever way he thinks the wind is blowing. He voted for disengagement from Gaza in the Knesset and the Cabinet and suddenly he was the big fighter against it.
Bibi's economic policies are dead on. So long as he sticks with that he's fine.
