Sonny Montgomery was the congressman whom Bill Clinton was on the phone with when Monica was servicing him under the desk in the Oval Office. Clinton was discussing national security matters with Montgomery at the time. Monica testified to this and, and both White House phone logs and Rep. Montgomery's office confirmed the time and date of the call, thereby corroborating Monica's testimony.
A conservative Democrat, Montgomery was a U.S. representative for an east-central Mississippi district in Congress from 1967 to 1997. Word was that he retired out of disgust at the way Clinton used him.
