Just remember that the potential for unbelief must always exist. This is why the demand for 'proof' is self-defeating for one who requires it both in natural logic and supernatural reality.

It is self-defeating in natural logic because the demand for 'proof' inevitably requires a *natural* proof for a *supernatural* reality. This is impossible logically, but those who demand such are unable to understand the implications with their minds in a darkened state.

The supernatural reality says "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)

Ultimately, this means that there *cannot* be 'proof'. The ability to choose to reject Jesus Christ *must* be present in order to please God.

Most fools can't understand that concept and think themselves quite clever for requiring that which cannot (natural proof) or will not (supernatural reality) be provided.

In reality, "the fool says in his heart, there is no God" (Psa 14:1) and "they are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts" (Eph 4:18).

I agree with what you say up to a point. But remember that Paul in Romans 1:20 says that

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse

Whether we call the miracle design or fine tuning or the strong anthropic principle, the world as we live it and observe it appears to be a miracle. Although in strictly rational terms the burden is always on those who think it is not to show why this is so, in personal terms the burden is on us to see and accept it with gratitude, as Jules does in Pulp Fiction:

Vincent: That's good, man. You're starin' to lighten up. You have been sittin', there, all serious and shit.

Jules: I just been sittin' here, thinkin’.

Vincent: About what?

Jules: About the miracle we witnessed.

Vincent: Miracle you witnessed. I witnessed a freak occurrence.

Jules: What is a miracle, Vincent?

Vincent: Act of God.

Jules: And what's an act of God?

Vincent: When, um, God makes the impossible possible. But... this morning I don't think qualifies.

Jules: Hey, Vincent. See, that shit don't matter. You're judging this shit the wrong way. It could be God stopped the bullets, changed Coke to Pepsi, found my car keys. You don't judge shit like this based on merit. Now, whether or not what we experienced was an according-to-Hoyle miracle is insignificant. But what is significant is, I felt the touch of God. God got involved. ...
