The failure of the Republicans to close ranks around and support Kathleen Harris is a perfect example of their ideological bankruptcy.

This, more than Harris, is what gives a boost to Nelson.

It's a sad state of affairs...As the Democrat Party becomes more evil, the Republican Party becomes more stupid. What's a voter to do?

There ARE a lot of intelligent, conservative or genuinely middel of the road Republicans.

They should LEAVE the party and form a third party.

The McCains, Snows, Chaffees, etc would find themselves with nowhere to go.

The Dems won't vote for Republicans even they are Democrat light.

The new party could draw from conservative Republicans, conservative independents and the few non-Bolshevik Democrats.
