Okay, I was optimisic until just now. He lost me with these "immigrants with roots in America" schtick.With all due respect, I agree with him. I've lived in both Chicago and Denver, and have visited Mexico. I taught ESL to people trying to get their citizenship. There are exceptions, of course, but many illegal immigrants come up to join family members. Many of them deeply admire the U.S. and want to be a part of it, legally.

Many of them deeply admire the U.S. and want to be a part of it, legally. The same can be said of many in China, India, Vietnam, Haiti, etc. We can't take them all in. There has to be limits
